SO the parents of the twin boys passed out bags of candy to
their fellow passengers with a cute little note and the option for ear plugs.
It was a beautiful, sweet, thoughtful gesture. No it was not necessary. As one
comment pointed out…. People are adults and realize that babies will cry. Yes we do!
The need to do it was not the point dolt! Thoughtfulness, humor, grace,
forgiveness and love motivated them. Have you ever been the parent of a
screaming baby on an airplane? I have and it is stressful and there are those
people that will make ugly comments under their breath and some will even be
publicly rude adding more stress to the already stressed parent and child. You
feel like you owe the entire plane an apology.
A spoonful of sugar as Mary Poppins says. I pray they all enjoyed the
flight.
I boarded a plane shortly after the 9-11 events with my two
young daughters. I had a seat and one row back on the other side of the plane
sat my two children. They wanted to be
independent so I let them. A man came and sat on the aisle seat next to them.
This now had me a bit fussed up. I was afraid they would annoy him and I was
concerned he may be a pervert. The girls were cheerful and chatty. I noticed
that he kept looking about him and up and down the aisle. This made me even tenser.
He caught on quickly to the scene playing out and asked if I was the mother. He
then asked if I wanted to change seats. The girls in one same voice said NO.
They laughed; he grinned and showed me his badge which fascinated the girls.
They talked about it for days, sitting with the airplane police.
On another flight they were on without me they sat next to a
man from Seattle who had a laptop and he had kept them entertained watching a
movie. He worked for the court system. When I picked them up they chattered on
and on about this man and his computer and the movie. I again was a bit
concerned when they handed me a note from him wrapped around his business card.
I wrote him a letter and he responded and sent the girls a photo of him and his
dog dressed up as Superman and Super dog for a Halloween party. Mischief
managed.
I got off of a flight in Anchorage Alaska and some thugs
attempted to grab and escort me away calling me Natalie. I kept telling them I
was NOT Natalie and they became more aggressive. My husband finally showed up
and after they had a heated discussion with another girl who had been on my
flight and two other girls I had not seen they let me go. Not entirely convinced, they had one large guy
follow us and watch us get on our connecting flight. Very mysterious….
Lady Tamara www.HighlandTitles.com would like to thank Lady Arwen www.HighlandTitles.com for her valiant
support of the b.w.w. boycott and the comments she made to the corporate
offices. I loved it!! Shaggy even cheered you on and offers her thank you as
well. So b.w.w people let me just say DO NOT MESS WITH US SCOTTISH
LADIES!!!!!
Did anyone else not like Made of Honor because she chose Tom
over Collin? I found nothing wrong with the sash over the wedding gown.
